Having tried many other soap brands, including fancy designer soaps sold at boutiques and fairs, River Soaps are our favorite.

I have to say what a wonderful soap. I bought a bar of the French lavender at a booth during our Clackamas County fair and absolutely loved it. I have search all over for a lavender soap that didn’t smell like a chemical. I just placed an order for two more lavenders and I am also trying 4 other scents. I also found out where I can get them if I do want to order off line. I will probably get some more as gifts for Christmas.

"I LOVE your soap! I bought the FRENCH LAVENDER soap in a small, quaint shop in Dallas while on a long weekend. I bought one bar for myself and 3 others to give away as gifts. But honestly, I'm going to find it hard to give away, I love it so much! I get up at 4:30 in the morning to go to work and I now actually look forward to taking a shower because of the wonderful scent of that soap! The aroma of this soap is literally, intoxicating. "We are building our home in the lovely and rugged Black Hills of South Dakota. And by task, I can choose between lifting, carrying, or hauling. Part of my current project is the creation of rock-bordered flower beds. Which means carrying the rocks, which somehow are always located downhill, uphill and placing them in my garden. Part of what I think about during the day is how wonderful it will feel when I fill a tub with hot, steaming water and sink into the wonderful fragrance of lavender. It has become something of a ritual for me! And I truly believe, although I have no idea why, that the bath salts help relieve my muscle soreness. "I purchased two bars of soap, called 'ocean mist with sea kelp' a year ago. I have looked for the past 9 months for this same soap, and have been unable to find it. My husband has traveled to every bath and soap store between the coast and motherlode looking for this soap and has been disappointed in not being able to find it. He is on a mission to get more of this soap. It wakes you up in the morning with the greatest smell and the best wash we have ever had, it is such a pleasure. This past Christmas the one I love gave me a box of assorted River Soap bars. The first one I started using was Mountain Laurel, and I have to say this is my new favorite soap ever. So often when I've tried soaps in the past, my sensitive skin breaks out in a rash, but your soap has been a godsend. It's gentle, cleansing, and it's fragrance has a soothing effect that makes me really look forward to my next shower. I can't thank you enough!

I just found your soap. I bought the woodland with hempseed oil and I love it! I washed my children's dreads and mine and our bodies with it. The smell was everything I want in a soap, healing, herbalicious and just perfect. I hope that you can put hempseed oil in more of your soaps. I will be ordering from you for sure in the near future. I only got the one soap at the local market of Choice in Eugene,Oregon and I plan to get more soon. I hope to get enough to fill my bathroom with the scent. Take good care and keep up the good works.

The woodland soap is the best. I bought it for my husband, but he couldn't use it (eczema), so I used it and am so glad I did!! I bought it before we moved and was so afraid that I would have to order it over the miles, but I found it sold here locally!! It is the best. I have never found a soap with such a long lasting scent. It has a manly, earthy smell and I absolutely lobe it and buy it as long as you make it!!

Milk and Honey

Today I decided to purchase a type of soap I have never used before and there were quite a few competitors to chose from at Whole Foods here in Houston TX. Your soap grabbed my attention and I bought 1 bar of the milk and honey with no scent. This soap is AWESOME, FANTASTIC, CREAMY, RICHY AND JUST DAMN GOOD! I have to go back and purchase more bars..If you have a testimonial section by all means add me to it so I can tell the world! BRAVO!

I have never been able to use a bar soap on my face; always too drying. BUT... I've been using the milk and honey bar soap for months now and love it. (just ordered more since I can't find it where I live). Thank you so much for having such wonderful products. I can't imagine my daily routine without it.
